Precautions for Using Shrink Discs (Locking Assemblies)
Clean all contact surfaces – Shaft, hub bore, and shrink disc mating surfaces must be free of oil, grease, paint, and debris. Use a solvent if necessary. Check dimensional tolerances – Ensure shaft and bore diameters are within the recommended tolerance range (typically h7/h8 for shaft, H7/H8 for hub).
